Ruth Mason







Having studied a BA in Art History at the University of Oxford and MA in Design History at the V&A and Royal College of Art, Ruth is now a Wolfson funded PhD student in the UCL Geography department. Interested in the spatial design of nineteenth-century institutions, her research focuses on the physical and metaphorical design of Methodist spaces in London between 1851 and 1932.  With Helen Cresswell, Ruth co-edits, an online space dedicated to exploring the 1862 International Exhibition.
