Betsy Lewis-Holmes

 

 

 

 

 

Betsy is a design historian with particular interests in medicine, science and technology.  She is currently writing her PhD on the material culture of health at the University of Exeter, analysing exercise and health literature as well as machines, devices and objects for women in England 1870-1914.  Betsy also works for Richmond upon Thames Arts Service, where she manages projects relating to arts, health and wellbeing, most recently Madge Gill: Medium & Visionary, supported by the Wellcome Trust.
